Tigers closer Joaquin Benoit earned his 23rd save Tuesday, striking out three while giving up one hit in a scoreless ninth inning as the Tigers beat the Twins, 4-2.

Benoit suffered his first blown save Monday but bounced back with a strong effort Tuesday, striking out three while pitching just one inning for the first time this season. He owns a 1.94 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 71:20 K:BB ratio in 65 innings.
