State lawmakers are considering extending ‘last call’ at some bars and restaurants to 4 a.m.
Supporters say keeping alcohol sales flowing an additional two hours would make Detroit more competitive with other big cities.

Critics say the bill would create more work for police.
The bill could be taken up by a committee in the coming weeks.
