DETROIT (WWJ) – The excitement is building as the Detroit Tigers are in the playoffs with their first game at Comerica Part Monday.
WWJ’s Beth Fisher says it’s driving sales of Tigers t-shirts and other gear too.
Just like last year, people are snapping up their Tigers apparel at The D Shop at Comerica Park.
Lando Jerdine the team store manager tells WWJ what’s hot …
“We’re running into that fall weather and the team is going to be wearing an exclusive sweatshirt that we have here at the stadium and this year they are offering the same graphics as the locker room t-shirt on the sweatshirt …,” said Jerdine.
That sweatshirt will run you $90, if that too expensive for you, Jerdine says they have t-shirts for $28.
He says t-shirts with the Tigers roster are also selling well as are baseball caps.
