CareTech Solutions’ Clinical Service Desk Selected by Long-Term Care Provider

TROY (WWJ) — CareTech Solutions, an IT and Web products and services provider for hospitals and health systems across the United States, announced the signing of its first contract with a long-term care company seeking 24/7 clinical help desk support.

CareTech said the client denied permission to be named. But CareTech said the company is based outside Michigan and operates multiple care centers across the country.

“CareTech Solutions has been providing IT support to hospitals for more than 15 years, including the addition of a help desk solution 10 years ago,” said Jim Giordano, president and CEO, CareTech Solutions. “As the delivery of care transcends provider silos, CareTech is well positioned to leverage its extensive clinical IT experience across the broader continuum. Supporting post-acute care is the first of several new tangential provider markets for us.”
