DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are searching for a missing 11-year-old boy.
Police say Andrew Walker left his home on Appleton, near Seven Mile Road and Telegraph, Sunday afternoon fearing he would get into trouble for something he did earlier in the day. He is described as a habitual runaway, who often leaves home to avoid punishment. Authorities say he usually returns in a few hours, but this is the longest time the boy has ever been gone.
Andrew is 4-feet-5 inches tall, 90 pounds, with black hair, and a medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing gray and orange shorts and a white long sleeve T-shirt.
Anyone with information about the case should call Detroit police.
