Police Search For Man Who Took 'Upskirt Photos' At Ulta

BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Police are looking for a man who allegedly took photos underneath a woman's dress at an Oakland County beauty store.

The incident occurred last Friday at the Ulta store on Telegraph Road, near Hickory Grove Road in Bloomfield Township. A female employee told police the man came in store and asked for assistance with finding products for his girlfriend.

The woman told police she was helping the man when she sensed he was entering her personal space. She said she didn't realize what was going on until another employee informed her that the man was attempting to take photos beneath her dress, according to police.

The suspect is described as an African-American, 27- to 33-years-old; 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 170 to 200 lbs. Police said the suspect was seen later in the area driving a light-colored vehicle, possibly a Chevy Impala.

A photo of the suspect was caught on security cameras, and police are hoping someone who knows the man will come forward.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or has had a similar encounter with this individual, is urged to contact police at 248-433-7755.
