Michigan’s loss to Penn State caused fans pain. Some suffered more than others.

One supporter of the Wolverines apparently was a little too demonstrative in his displeasure, however, and received an unpleasant wake-up call when police maced him in the face.

After missed opportunity after missed opportunity by both the Wolverines and the Nittany Lions, Penn State prevailed at home in four overtimes, making Happy Valley happy and Michigan fans much less joyous – particularly that guy.

According to Deadspin, the fan in question had been taunting other fans throughout the game and looked like he was about to start a fight when police came to escort him out. Evidently he ended up taking swings at the arresting officers, and that is when they deployed the pepper spray.
