Tips Sought In Macomb Church Burglary

MACOMB TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Authorities are looking for a burglar who stole cash donations from a Macomb County church.

The break in was reported Friday morning at St. Isidore Church on 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township.

Investigators say the thief entered the building through a propped-open door, kicked open a second door, destroying the lock,  and then pried open a donation box.

The church director told Macomb County Sheriff's deputies about $80 was taken.
