Two Points Of View On Kronwall Getting Hurt

DETROIT (97.1 THE TICKET) - Thursday night's Wings 4-2 win over the Avs in Denver featured a very scary moment, when Niklas Kronwall was hit from behind by Cody McLeod. Kronwall left the ice on a stretcher and McLeod was thrown out of the game.

Here is how it looked and sounded on Fox Sports Detroit's broadcast with Ken Daniels and Chris Osgood.

Conversely listen to Avalanche play by play announcer/blowhard Mike Haynes. Uh Mike,is Kronwall known as a dirty player? Has he had many suspensions?

Thankfully their color analyst former player Peter McNab seems to be pretty fair.

For the record I don't think McLeod tried to injure Kronwall, but in today's NHL he will be probably be suspended. It was a little dirty, because as McNab points out,McLeod can definitely see the numbers on the back of Kronwall's jersey.
