License Suspended 12 Times; Woman Facing New Charges After Allegedly Totaling Police Car

FERNDALE (WWJ) - A Detroit woman, who has had her drivers license suspended 12 times, is facing new charges after hitting a police car.

Ferndale police say Andreana Seay was arrested late last night for drunk driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license after running a red light and hitting the cop car on 8 Mile at Gardendale.

The woman drove away with her headlights off and her car leaking fluid. Other officers found her shortly after the crash.

Along with the new charges, Seay was also wanted on several other traffic warrants and police note that she has a previously been convicted of DWLS. The officer involved in the crash is okay. The patrol car was totaled.
