DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are looking for help to track down a murder suspect on the run.

Eric Jashawn Ray, aka “Pill,” is wanted in a fatal shooting that occurred last month in the 7400 block of Vaughn.

According to police, on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, Ray and the 24-year-old male victim got into an argument. That’s when police say Ray “produced a weapon and fatally wounded the victim.”

Ray fled the scene and police have not been able to locate him.

Ray is described as a black male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a mustache and goatee.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Anyone with information about this crime or Ray’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP or 1-800-773-2587, or text CSM and your tips to crimes (274637).
