James Taylor's Surprising Way To Screw Up The National Anthem

Singing the national anthem before a sporting event can be very scary.  Even top performers have found ways to foul things up.  Christina Aguilera famously got the words wrong before the Super Bowl in 2011, country singer Luke Bryan was caught reading the lyrics from his hand at the MLB All-Star game last year, and Steven Tyler just screeched his way through his attempt before Indy 500.  (And don't even get me started on the versions from Carl Lewis and Roseanne Barr!)  But the version that came out of James Taylor before the start of World Series Game 2 was truly unique.  It was the first time a singer just started off with a totally different song.

In James Taylor's defense, he was also brought there to sing "America The Beautiful" during the 7th inning stretch.  It seems he just got a little ahead of himself.
