Man Sentenced For Home Invasion That Led To Death Of Retired Sheriff's Deputy
DETROIT (AP) - A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to spend at least 23 years, 8 months behind bars for his role in home invasion that led to the shooting death of a 76-year-old retired Genesee County sheriff's deputy.
Circuit Judge Archie Hayman sentenced Aaron Robinson on Monday for the August 2011 attack in Flint.
A jury convicted Robinson of home invasion, safe breaking, gun theft, receiving a stolen gun, and possessing a firearm during a felony.
