Cops Bust Oakland County Doc For Allegedly Prescribing Drugs Without Medical Cause

SYLVAN LAKE (WWJ) - An Oakland County doctor is busted for allegedly prescribing drugs for non-medical reasons.

Oakland County Sheriff investigators arrested Dr. Mohammad Amin, who was practicing at "Healing Hands Urgent Care" in Sylvan Lake.

Investigators confiscated medical records, computers and prescription pads from his office.

His bond is set at $10,000 and his next court date is scheduled for November 18.
