Michigan Cruises Past Concordia In Exhibition

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Glenn Robinson III scored 33 points on 12-of-15 shooting and Michigan won its exhibition opener, 117-44 over Concordia on Tuesday night.

The Wolverines never trailed, went on a 27-2 run midway through the first half and had a 60-19 halftime lead in their first game since losing to Louisville in the NCAA title game.

Nik Stauskas added 23 points and Caris LeVert had 16 for Michigan.

Tyler Smith had 10 points to lead Concordia, an Ann Arbor Christian college that competes in the NAIA.

The Wolverines, who have to replace national player of the year Trey Burke, were missing sophomore forward Mitch McGary, who has not participated in preseason practices due to a lower back problem. He averaged 7.5 points and a team-best 6.3 rebounds last season.
