Police Ask For Help Locating Missing WSU Law Student

DETROIT (WWJ) - A third year Wayne State law student is missing, and campus police are asking for your help. Thirty-three year old Tiane Brown was last seen Monday night on campus.

Police have no evidence indicating that she has been in an accident or is a victim of foul play, however she cannot be located says Wayne State Chief of Police Anthony Holt.

"She was at the library and we know that she was on the campus at least at 8:15 (p.m.) and she was reported missing by her parents early this morning (Tuesday) after she failed to pick up her three children in W. Bloomfield," said Chief Holt.

"There is no indication of foul play but just that she did not return home. This is very unusual for a person that age, family situation and being a third year law student - so based upon that we just started our search a little earlier," Holt said.

Tiane Brown is African American, 5 feet, 7 inches and weighs about 145 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown, shoulder length hair.
