PONTIAC (WWJ) – A targeted sting operation in Pontiac nets a dozen arrests in the month of October.

Acting on tips from people who live in the Pontiac neighborhood near Baldwin Road, the sheriff’s department ran an undercover sting.

Eleven women from across the County and one woman from Detroit were arrested.

Their ages ranged from 25 through 50.

Eight have already pleaded guilty – and have been sentenced to 93 days in jail.

The other four are out on bail pending court dates.
