Valenti and Foster: What Is The One Thing You KNOW Will Happen in U-M vs. MSU?

(CBS Detroit) -- When interstate rivals meet on the field, records seem to fly out the window. When bragging rights are on the line, teams tend to leave it all out on the field.

That being said, when Michigan and Michigan State collide in their yearly battle, games are hardly predictable. 97.1 The Ticket's Mike Valenti and Terry Foster want to know what one thing, if anything, will for sure happen during this year's game.

Valenti seemed to think Michigan will come out of the gates throwing.

"I am convinced that Michigan will score on its first drive," Valenti said on his radio show Friday. "State usually comes out flat and Michigan will take advantage. Al Borges, Michigan's offensive coordinator, will run a spread from start to finish and abandon any power running game."

Foster thinks all the talk from this week will ultimately result in an altercation on the field.

"There will be a fight in the first quarter of the game and it will probably be started by a Michigan player," Foster said. "Someone will take a punch at somebody. Michigan will do that to let State know that they aren't scared of them. They're going to try to get the Spartans off their game."

What is the one thing that you absolutely know will happen during Saturday's game?
