DTE Energy Adds Energy Saving Tools To Web Site

DETROIT (WWJ) -- DTE Energy said Monday it has renovated its Energy Efficiency House, bolstering it with more than 100 energy-saving tips that can be applied in every room of your house.

The Energy Efficiency House Web site, www.dteenergy.com/house, offers tips galore for every room in the house. The House shows that becoming more energy-efficient -- and reducing energy bills -- is really quite easy, from just turning off electronics when you're not using them, to reducing your water heater temperature to 120 degrees.

The site also provides links to other information so customers can take control of their energy use and save on their energy bills.

The new Lighting Guide, www.dteenergy.com/lightingguide, takes a comprehensive look at modern lighting, showing which bulbs are the most energy-efficient and cost-effective.

The Lighting Guide also shows where bulbs can be purchased at special DTE Energy discounted prices. The Guide is continually updated with new information.
