Sheryl Crow To Perform At Detroit Auto Show Charity Preview

DETROIT (WWJ) - Nine time Grammy-Award winning recording artist Sheryl Crow will be performing at the 2014 North American International Auto Show Charity Preview.

Making the announcement live in the WWJ Newsradio 950 studios on Wednesday, event Chairman Bob Shuman said Crow's passion for fundraising makes her a perfect match for the car show's swanky black tie gala which raises money for multiple southeastern Michigan children's charities.

"It's all about the kids, it's all about Charity Preview, and she is so into that," Shuman said. "She's done a lot of cancer awareness and cancer charities, helping the environment, helping kids — it all flows together, and she was very excited to be able to participate."
