This may be the year of statement outerwear, but the right pair of boots will add the perfect touch to any look. More importantly, Michigan weather demands a fashionista have boots for the sudden climate and seasonal changes.
Here are four boot styles that a Detroit fashionista should have in her closet:
1) Over-the Knee Boots
Over the Knee Boots are sassy, sexy, and are a must to have. They can dress up a look or be worn causally with a pair of jeans or leggings. Over-the -knee boots are pure attitude. No matter if they are flat or have heels, over-the-knee boots look great with anything. Purchase a pair to wake up any ensemble for the weekend.
Booties are the perfect compromise of a boot. They allow enclosed coverage to the foot but do not require the extra material up or around the leg that can sometimes be cumbersome. The beginning of fall is cold but does not always require a heavy boot. The bootie is light, fashionable and very appropriate. Booties can also be a fancy substitute for after-five attire.
3) Rain Boots
Rain Boots are ideal for any season but are extra sensible in fall because they double for warmth and shield against the wet weather. Choosing a stylish pair of rain boots is sure to keep you fashionable during the rainiest of days.
4) Winter Boots
In Michigan it’s a given that everyone must have a pair of go-to winter boots in their closet. Whether it’s a pair of Uggs or faux fur boots, it’s just important to keep your feet warm against the brutal cold weather.
The Pink Pump in Birmingham is one of the many places in the Detroit that sell stylish boots to swoon over. Pick up these essential boot styles to look effortlessly stylish throughout the season.
