HOWELL (WWJ) – Police in Livingston County arrest two Howell men believed to have been involved in a series of robberies all over the county.

Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Thomas McCrackin confessed to eight breaking and entering cases after being caught red-handed with some of the stolen goods. Deputies then questioned 31-year-old Vincent Fowler, and after executing a search warrant, arrested him for receiving stolen guns. Officials say jewelry, guns, cash, tools and scrap metal were taken in the robberies that occurred in Tyrone, Cohoctah and Genoa townships.

McCrackin has been arraigned on one count of breaking and entering. While Fowler was arraigned and charged with receiving and concealing stolen firearms and possession of firearms by a felon. Both men are currently lodged in the Livingston County Jail.
