It’s hard not to feel bad for Lions fans.
Every week, they believe, hope and try their best to remain optimistic only to see Detroit go down in defeat in a way only the Lions can. The ways the Lions have found ways to lose can only be summed up by one, widely used and accepted acronym; SOL.
It stands for Same Ole’ Lions, but you already knew that and there really isn’t a better term to use when talking about a team that has consistently sucker punched fans in the gut for my lifetime and yours too.
After the Lions lost a typical SOL game to the Buccaneers on Sunday, I had a chance to ask Detroit defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh about SOL and if he believes the acronym is accurate?
“That’s your opinion, I don’t believe that by any means” Suh said. “Sam ole’ Lions or I’m not sure what that exactly means. I guess they want to say that it’s the same losing Lions, but I don’t believe in that.”
Too bad the rest of us have been forced to believe in it game after game after game.
Check out the entire Suh video as he finishes his thoughts about SOL and touches on other Lions related subjects after one of the worst losses of the season.
