DETROIT (WWJ) – While many people on Wednesday will be winding down for the holiday, local bars will be ramping up their preparations for on of their busiest and most profitable nights of the year.

Sam Angeleri of Dooley’s Tavern in Roseville says he’s stocked up on beer and will have all hands on-deck for Thanksgiving Eve.

“Nothing can compare to St. Patrick’s Day especially at the Dooley’s Tavern when we run through 3,500 people in one day,” said Angeleri. “But the night before Thanksgiving is just off-the-hook crazy.”

Angeleri expects about 1500 people through the doors through the course of the night.
