Packers Guard Calls Detroit Lions Scumbags

DETROIT (97.1 THE TICKET) – Packers left guard called the Lions scumbags and he said it starts with Schwartz.

It appears that Josh Sitton took to the airwaves in Milwaukee just in time for the Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field calling the Lions among other things a bunch of dirtbags.

Sitton had no problem pointing fingers and naming names …

The Detroit Free Press noted his most pointed comments came when a radio host on the program asked him about whether the Lions would take a penalty to put a hard hit on quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who’s been out with a broken collarbone and likely won’t play Thursday.

“Absolutely,” Sitton said. “I don’t think there’s any question about that. They go after quarterbacks. Their entire defense takes cheap shots all the time, that’s what they do, that’s who they are. They’re a bunch of dirtbags, or scumbags. I mean, that’s how they play.

Is it a fair assessment of how the Detroit Lions play?

Does everybody hate the Lions?
