Time To Fill Up: Gas Prices Drop Again

DETROIT (WWJ) – A day following the long Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend, AAA Michigan is reporting a drop in gas prices.

According to the Auto Club, the average price of gas dropped just over 11 cents this week. Michigan’s statewide average is currently $3.216 per gallon, 24.3 cents less than this same time last year. AAA says the average price for self-serve fell eight cents in Metro Detroit over the past week, with the average at $3.198 per gallon. The current price is 29.4 cents less than last year.
