Former Sheriff, Warren Evans, Hired As Consultant By Ficano

DETROIT (WWJ) - Former Wayne County Sheriff Warren Evans will be doing some consulting work for the county.

Evans, who also served as Detroit's Police Chief, will help the county devise strategies that could drive down the prison population at the jails, according to a statement from the county's deputy CEO, Jeffrey Collins.

Evans will be paid $150 per/hour for consulting - with services not to exceed $30,000 for the one year contract.

Evans created a consulting service called Cleage Group, LLC.
