Police Search For Camaro Stolen From Murder Victim

HARPER WOODS (WWJ) - Harper Woods police are still looking for a Chevrolet Camaro that was stolen from a murder victim over the weekend.

Altin Avdyli, the 31-year-old owner of Royal Grill, was shot to death Friday night during an apparent robbery in an alley behind the restaurant on Kelly Road near State Fair Street.

Police say the suspect took off in Avdyli’s 2010 Chevy Camaro, which they are currently trying to track down.

Police say the Camaro is gray with distinctive black racing stripes and Michigan license plate number CFZ-9555.
