DETROIT (CBS Detroit) We’ve all done it — scooted over when we should have walked over, stayed on a boring TV channel because the remote got buried in the couch, threw everything under the bed when company was on its way instead of cleaning up.
But former Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland moved taking it easy to a whole new level.
Come on, it’s a long driveway!
Leyland’s son Patrick Tweeted a photo of a shiny Lexus at the end of a driveway with the door flung open and a trash bin outside the door. Presumably, he’s driving the trash from the curb back to the garage.
Apparently when he left the world of head coaching, he also retired from the world of walking.
What do you think, does Leyland deserve a pass after all those stressful games, all those huffing trips to the mound — or does this take retirement too far?
