Detroit Police Chief Excited About Monday Night Football

DETROIT (WWJ) – A sellout crowd will watch the Detroit Lions take on the Baltimore Ravens in their Monday Night Football showdown at Ford Field. If you or someone you know will be going to the game, Detroit Police Chief James Craig has a bit of advice.

“Just be aware of your surroundings,” Craig said. “The Detroit Police Department will be there providing the kind of service that we provide; nothing new. It’ll be consistent. If you look at our games, you know, we have a world champion baseball team, football and you know, we have a world champion police department, so we’re excited about it.”

Craig says police will also make sure that the traffic flow around the stadium is orderly.
