Keep Those Snow Shovels And Snowblowers Handy
DETROIT (WWJ) - Don't put those snow shovels away just yet!
As if the last few days weren't enough, the metro Detroit area is expecting another one to three inches of snow on Monday, and that could bring the total amount over the past three days to a foot in some cities. While freeways are mainly clear, some surface streets are still snow-covered in spots. Subdivision streets are also snow-covered.
As predicted, the National Weather Service says the most snow over the weekend fell near the Ohio border. Nine inches of snow was reported in Newport in Monroe County. Eight inches was reported near Metro Airport and Wyandotte. Seven inches was reported near Ann Arbor, Mt. Clemens and Roseville.
