Detroitlions.com writer Tim Twentyman is reporting that the Detroit Lions have signed Carlin Isles to the practice squad. Isles is known as the “fastest man in rugby”. He played wing for Team USA Rugby.

Isles, 24, is from Massillon, Ohio. He played football at Ashland University where he was an All-American in the 60m dash.

Isles worked out for the Lions earlier this week and ran a 4.22 40-yard dash.
