FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) – Police have arrested a suspect in the weekend slaying of a party store owner in Farmington Hills.  assisted

Police confirm that a 43-year-old Detroiter has been arrested in connection with the murder of 59-year-old Duraid “Dave” Lossia.

Lossia was shot and killed during an apparent robbery at Tom’s Party Store, on Inkster north of 8 Mile, on Saturday.

Police say physical evidence collected from the scene and surrounding area has linked the subject to the crime.

Police are not releasing the identity of the suspect at this time.

Lossia’s funeral is set for Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church in Southfield.
