Florida State capped off its undefeated season by finishing No. 1 in the final AP and coaches polls.

Auburn ended up at No. 2, while one-loss Michigan State moved up to No. 3.

It was the first time since 2005 and SEC team was not ranked No. 1 in the final poll. Texas beat USC in the Rose Bowl that season to win the national title.

The Seminoles received all 60 first-place votes from the media in the AP poll after beating Auburn 34-31 in the championship game.
