LTU Event Talks High-Tech Automotive

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) — Join WWJ’s Matt Roush and an expert panel for a discussion on high-tech and the auto industry Thursday, Jan. 9 at Lawrence Technological University.

The event, part of the WWJ Unwired Coffee Series at LTU, begins with networking at 7:30 a.m. and presentations from 8 to 9 a.m. at LTU’s University Technology and Learning Center Gallery, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield.

The event will cover the future of in-vehicle displays and infotainment, along with the latest on how driver distraction issues will be overcome. We’ll also talk connected vehicles, advanced materials, high-tech powertrains and the future possibilities for autonomous cars.

Coming during the International CES and just before the North American International Auto Show, there’s never been a better time to talk car tech.

The panel will include Tom Apostolos, President, Ricardo USA Inc.; Jerry Klarr, Director of Innovation and Strategy, AVL; and WWJ automotive reporter Jeff Gilbert.
