DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say four people were injured in a shooting when a domestic dispute turned violent on the city’s northwest side.

The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. Monday at a home in the 800 block of Calvert, in the Boston-Edison District near Hamilton Avenue just east of the Lodge Freeway.

Although police were vague about circumstances surrounding the shooting, they did confirm that a total of four people were injured.

A woman, approximately 23-years-old, who was shot three times remains in critical condition. Another woman, approximately 38-years-old, is also in critical condition. A 22-year-old woman who was shot once is in temporary-serious condition, as is a 32-year-old man who was shot twice.

The shooter, described as a 46-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. His weapon was also recovered. The relationship between the gunman and the victims was not immediately clear. Names were not released.
