Ferndale Police Reportedly Nab Homeless Man After Senior's Murder

FERNDALE (WWJ) According to local media reports, Ferndale police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a 67-year-old man.

The man's body was found with multiple stab wounds to the chest in a first floor apartment on the city's northeast side.

The suspect is reported to be a local homeless person who generally panhandles near I-75 and 8 Mile.

The 37-year-old suspect was seen walking into the apartment with the victim, and then leaving a short time later, according to reports.

The matter is currently under review by the Oakland County prosecutors office.
