1 Killed In Double Shooting On Detroit's East Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a shooting on the city's east side that left one man dead and another fighting for his life.

The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. Thursday on Chandler Park Drive near I-94 and Conner Street. When police arrived on the scene, they found two men shot multiple times in a car.

A man in his 20's died at the scene, while a 29-year-old Westland man was rushed to St. John's Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and investigators aren't sure what the gunman's motive might have been.

Police are seeking tips from the public in the case.
