72-Year-Old Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) – Police in Detroit are looking for two gunmen who tried to rob a 72-year old man on the city’s eastside.  

Police say the victim was walking to his daughter’s home near Outer Drive and Mt. Elliott early Sunday morning when the suspect tried to rob him.  

The man and the suspects exchanged gunfire.  

The victim was hit and is in stable condition.  

It’s unknown if any of the suspects were wounded.
