Detroit Police Ask For Help Locating Missing Man

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help to find a missing man.

Willie Frank Rainey, 58, was last seen by his son at their home on Goldengate street on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at approximately 4 p.m. when Mr. Rainey told his son that he would be back in a couple days.

No one in the family has seen or heard from him since.

Mr. Rainey is 5' 11", weighs 155 lbs, short black hair. It is unknown what Mr. Rainey was wearing at the time he went missing.

Mr. Rainey does suffer from diabetes.

Anyone who has seen Willie Frank Rainey, is asked to please contact the Detroit Police Department's Criminal Investigations at 313-596-5240.

In an unrelated case, Detroit police say another person reported missing on Monday has been found.

Theresa Royster, 78, disappeared from a home on Lichfield street on Sunday, Jan.19 at 9 p.m. She was recovered on Tuesday and police said she's doing fine.
