Snow Emergencies Declared In Several Cities Around Metro Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Several metro Detroit communities have declared snow emergencies, meaning people have to get their cars off the streets, or else they face the possibility of getting a ticket and/or having their cars towed.

Snow emergencies are currently in effect in the following communities:

ALLEN PARK

BIRMINGHAM

FLAT ROCK

GARDEN CITY

OAK PARK

ROYAL OAK

SHELBY TOWNSHIP: Until Monday February 3 at 8 a.m.

STERLING HEIGHTS

If you have questions about whether your city is under a snow emergency, you can go online to the City Hall office in your town or call your local police department's non-emergency number.
