Accident On I-96 Leaves 11-Year-Old Dead
DETROIT (WWJ) - An 11-year-old was killed in a traffic crash on westbound I-96 express near the Davison in Detroit Saturday night.
Michigan State Police say a Lincoln Navigator was broken down in the far right lane and the driver of a semi-truck didn't see it and hit the rear of the Navigator.
Four people were inside the Navigator including three children. The 11-year-old died, while a one year old and a four month old were taken to Children's Hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Two adults were treated at the scene and the driver of the semi was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
