Macomb Township, Mich. (WWJ) - The Macomb County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a 68-year-old man called 911 to report that he had been stabbed multiple times.

The victim told dispatchers that he had been stabbed by his roommate. When sheriff's deputies arrived at the home in the Camelot Villa Mobile Home Park, they arrested 54-year-old Ronald Roude, and a hunting knife was recovered from a dresser in the home.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Sheriff's officials say the man was treated for 14 stab wounds to his chest, abdomen, arms and face. He was last reported in critical condition.

Roude was arraigned in the 41A District Court of Shelby Township on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder. He received a $150,000 cash or surety bond and remains in custody.
