Metta World Peace Considers Coming To Pistons

By Evan Jankens
@kingofthekc

Maybe since he goes by Metta World Peace he doesn't remember what happened when he was Ron Artest? Of course, here in Detroit we remember exactly what happened with good 'ol Ron/Metta on November 19, 2004 -- just a little thing called 'The Malice at The Palace."

We all know that moment when the announcer yelled, "Artest is in the stands!" That cost him 86 games, including 13 in the playoffs and a grand total of $4,995,0000.

The Knicks have released World Peace and yesterday he tweeted there are eight decent teams he's considering joining -- and called the Pistons a sleeper team. He could sign with any team for the rest of the season to help their playoff push. My only question is why he would choose Detroit? And from a fans' perspective would you want to see World Peace in the Pistons home red, white and blue?
