DETROIT (97.1 THE TICKET) – Who should take to the mound on Tigers’ Opening Day?

Should it be Max Scherzer or Justin Verlander?

Scherzer, coming off his 2013 Cy Young Award winning season,  had that awesome 13-0 run during the season and started Game 1 of the playoffs. Remember the energy surrounding each game he pitched?

Verlander on the other hand has proven his worth, season in and season out.  Should Verlander make the Opening Day trip to the mound for the seventh straight time?

So we ask you … should Scherzer start Opening Day or is this JV’s team?
