You know pretty much all there is to know about the greatest defenseman ever to play the game.
Ok, that last line you might fight me on as a lot of people will say Bobby Orr was the greatest, but that's a different argument for a different blog. In fact I actually might have already written that piece about 2 years ago.
But we actually do know a ton about Lidstrom, who will get his number 5 raised to the rafters at Joe Louis Arena later tonight.

Lidstrom played for 20 seasons where he took part in 1, 564 games, so he has a lot of players to choose from.
