CBS DETROIT – As if it was not bad enough that Ohio State got bounced from the NCAA tournament by in-state rival Dayton, its self-aggrandizing moniker got exposed as well, with a Dayton paper headlining its story on the upset, “THE University Of Dayton.”

In case you missed it earlier, here is the front page of the paper after Dayton’s win over the Buckeyes.

The Flyers have since advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.

And now the hits just keep coming.

That’s right. Apparently jerseys were printed that misspelled the word “Ohio.” Is it even possible to misspell “Ohio?” Evidently, it is.

Thank goodness they didn’t try to spell “THE.”
