Verlander, Upton Getting Serious? Kate Brings Justin Around Family [PICS]
CBS DETROIT - The Twitter feeds of Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Justin Verlander and Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton reveal more about the relationship between the two every day, and it looks to be getting serious.
It appears Upton has been bringing Verlander around her family, evidently including him in a birthday surprise for her sister Christie.
From the tweets of Christie and Kate, it appears that the birthday was not the first time Christie has met her famous sister's new boyfriend.
Evidently, Verlander and Upton first met back in 2012 while shooting a commercial, but at some point they broke up, and Upton got together with Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Since evidently reuniting earlier this year, the couple has not been shy about the relationship.
Upton and Verlander tweet back and forth regularly, and they retweet each other often, too. Verlander went as far as to share Upton's announcement that she is the new face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Here are some of the other online interactions between the comely couple.
Verlander will start Opening Day for the Tigers, whose season begins Monday, so seems quite likely that more photos of the blonde bombshell at baseball games are likely to pop up soon.
