CBS DETROIT - The NFL continues to withhold its full schedule for 2014, which is not expected to be released until later this month, but it teased fans Wednesday by revealing the preseason matchups.

The Detroit Lions will play the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, the Oakland Raiders in Week 2, the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 and the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. The games against Cleveland and Jacksonville will be home games.

The Lions will see familiar faces in two of those games, with their former wide receiver Nate Burleson now a member of the Browns and their former head coach Jim Schwartz now the defensive coordinator for the Bills.

In 2013 the Lions went 3-1 in the preseason, losing to the Cleveland Browns but defeating the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. In the regular season Detroit went 7-9.
