Wanna Be A Ghost Hunter? Here’s Your Chance

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) – Budding ghostbusters can take a class next month to hone their skills.

Ghost Hunting 101 is being offered through the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department and begins May 10.

Ann Arbor psychic medium Joan St. John is teaching the class. St. John, who does psychic readings for clients around the world and has written a book about the ghosts she says reside on Mackinac Island, says the class covers the basics of ghost hunting and has students venture out on their own in search of spirits.

St. John told WWJ Newsradio 950’s Jayne Bower that many people don’t realize that there are ethics to ghost hunting. “You have to get permission to be on private property,”she said. “Some restaurants are very haunted, but some owners don’t want ghost hunters in there.”
